Workshops covering a variety of topics of real interest to club members take place on Saturday afternoon with follow-up reviews and an open forum on Sunday morning.

There will be two 60 minute concurrent workshops in break-out rooms and six 30 minute sessions running in the main hall, three at a time.

09:30 Tell us what you do A chance for 6 clubs with 5 minutes each to share with others what has gone well for them
10:00 Competitions & Awards Presentation of further District competition results:
  1. Environment Poster
  2. Essay Competition
  3. Poetry Competition
  4. Junior Peace Poster and CAD
10:15 Telling ain't selling As clubs we complain how difficult it is to get the public's interest when we have membership drives in shopping malls, country fairs, galas etc. During this workshop we will look at how, without making drastic changes to our approach or what we say, we can better our chances of gaining the person's interest and possibly gaining a new member by using the penny card and other approaches. Lions Keith and Michelle from District 105C not only run a Learning and Development company but have vast experience of exhibitions both here and overseas where one is competing with hundreds of others for the customers attention
